Wellstone Film Series Continues Friday, Jan. 30th with "Flow"

On FRIDAY, JANUARY 30TH, we will be showing our next documentary for the Paul Wellstone series.  PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FRIDAY AND NOT A THURSDAY EVENING.  “FLOW: FOR LOVE OF WATER” was recently released (in 2008); running 84 minutes, it will begin at 6:30 in the 2nd Floor Teen Room at the South Portland Community Center.  As usual, doors open at 6:00 p.m., and admission is free.

The film examines the harsh realities behind the mounting crisis of fresh water. Directed by Irena Salina, the documentary shows how issues of this important natural resource are interwoven with larger economic, social, political, and human concerns that affect all of us.
