Gore Movie Fundraiser Helps Local Dems

The South Portland Democratic City Committee joined with Victory 2006 for a special showing of “An Inconvenient Truth.” This critically acclaimed documentary features former Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore’s presentation about the dangers of Global Warming.  Although this potentially catastrophic threat to our planet is routinely downplayed or scoffed at by many Republicans, the world’s scientific community is united in their concern about the impact that carbon dioxide emissions have on our planet.
