Michele Parry Launches Bid to Chair SoPo Dems

Democratic activist Michele Parry has announced her intention to run for the role of Chair of the South Portland Democratic City Committee. The seat will soon become vacant in the wake of the announcement of the resignation of Deborrah Jabar from the post.

“Barack Obama’s victory on November 4th marked the culmination of tremendous efforts by Democrats in South Portland, in Maine, and across America to create avenues to change,” Parry said. “I want to see our Party continue to grow and strengthen and surpass the amazing gains we made in this election.”
