Election Day Thoughts by Jane Eberle

For months, I’ve been wondering how I’d feel today…the day after the election.  Would all the hard work of campaigning - hundreds of doors, appearances, ads, roundtables, forums, profiles, interviews, meetings, signs, etc., etc., pay off?
So today it is with an overwhelming sense of relief, gratitude, amazement, patriotism, and pride that I – with all my esteemed South Portland legislative colleagues - find myself returning to Augusta to serve the people of my community.
